BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) -  The Webster parish chief assistant D.A. is out on bond after Bossier City police arrested him on domestic abuse and intimidation charges.
KSLA News 12 was first to show you the surveillance video of the incident.
The video is from inside the Horseshoe Casino early Saturday morning.
A Bossier City police report states chief assistant district attorney Charles "Sherb" Sentell grabbed his wife Julianna's arm and yelled inches from her face.
According to the report, while officers interviewed Julianna they handcuffed Sherb.
They took the assistant district attorney to jail on charges of domestic abuse battery and public intimidation.
"You don't expect that kind of thing, from people like him," said Bossier City resident Karteda Harris.
"If he really did it, it's not very good for an assistant district attorney," said Webster parish resident Jason Patton.
The officer who wrote the report says Sherb Sentell threatened to sue a few of the officers and use his political influence to affect their jobs.
Sherb Sentell is out on bond.
We tried tracking him down at his home in Minden.
People came to the door, but never answered.
Many say the situation doesn't look good.
However, some people in Webster parish sympathize with Sentell.
"He's human.  I never did anything like that, but I could have I suppose," said Webster parish resident Andy Hinton.
Bossier-Webster district attorney Schuyler Marvin has placed Sentell on paid administrative leave.
Marvin claims the conduct, if proven true, is uncharacteristic of Sentell.
