BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Around 11 o clock Thursday night the red river travel plaza became the target of an armed robber.

"We think once someone sees his face they'll be able to recognize him and know who it was," said Erin Habich with the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office.

In the video surveillance you can plainly see the man walk up to the counter with a case of beer.

Then he produced a handgun.

"He said yeah, I really need the money in a bad way, he kind of almost pleaded with her," said Habich.

But those pleas fell on deaf ears, the clerk reportedly argued with the bandit.

"He just got fed up and took the case of beer and left," said Habich.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office considers the man armed and dangerous, and considering what he reportedly said to the clerk he could be desperate as well, so Bossier Parish Sheriff's Deputies are asking for your help, and want you to take a good look at the video.

"Crimestoppers is offering 1,000 dollars to get this guy, we have pictures and video surveillance of him apparently he didn't know there was nine cameras around the store," said Habich.

The video shows a man in his 20's, about 5'11", 160 lbs, with dark hair, a mustache and sideburns.

An outside camera even shows the car he drove, a late model green Pontiac Sunfire.

"Hopefully someone will see him tonight and recognize him right off hand," said Habich.

If you recognize the man call the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office at 318-965-2203.
