14-yr. old S'port boy takes parents car and wrecks

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - A report of a stolen car resulted in arrests for an entire family. Bossier City Police tell us the dad and step-mom said their car had been taken.

Officers spotted their 14 -year-old son driving the car.

The teen reportedly crashed the car into a pole on Spring Street in Shreveport while trying to get away from officers.

"That young man is going to be booked into the Bossier Detention Center," says Mark Natale, Bossier City Police Information Officer. "The charges Bossier City has on him is aggravated flight from an officer, having no drivers license and reckless operation."

Police tell us when the parents showed up on the scene, police found out they had bench warrants for traffic violations, so they went to jail, too.
