HAUGHTON, LA (KSLA) - Two Bossier Parish men are in jail accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property, mostly from Texas.

Those stolen items, ranging from vehicles to tractors were found on some property in Haughton.

There is a strange twist to how the bossier parish sheriff's office ended up with two suspects.

One man was turned in by another, then the whistle blower himself was arrested and charged with practically the same crime.

On Wednesday thirty- three year old Aaron Thomas was arrested and charged with possession of stolen things, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

His girlfriend's father, George Williamson is the one who turned him in, saying he had a bunch of his stolen items stashed away on his property, that move resulted in Williamson's own arrest today.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office says Williamson admitted to knowing they were stolen, and even admitted to using the items.

The first thing we found was a ford expedition, turned out to be stolen, after that we found a Kubota Tractor, we found an airstream travel trailer, goose neck trailers a ford F150 among the long list of the things were found today.

Investigators are still taking inventory of the reported stolen items, and say the value reaches into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Thomas already has a lengthy criminal record, including 13 arrests for vehicle burglaries, two arrests for building burglaries, and one for robbery.
