HUNTSVILLE, AL (KSLA) - A multi-state manhunt across the south has come to an end. The man suspected of using a stun gun and handcuffs to subdue women and rape them, was arrested after an interstate pursuit in Alabama.
Thirty-seven year-old James Crockett Junior is accused of raping three women near college campuses in Louisiana and Mississippi, including one near LSU in Baton Rouge.
He was involved in a highway chase that ended in him rolling his car over.
Police say Crockett was arrested at 8:40pm Monday night by U.S. Marshals and the Alabama Highway Patrol.
