Texas High wins Class 4A State Baseball Championship

The Texas High School baseball team captured the Class 4A state championship on Thursday by beating Corpus Christi Moody 4-3 at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.  The Tigers never trailed scoring once in the first and two in the third, then one in the seventh after Moody had tied it with three runs in the bottom of the third inning.

New York Yankee draftee Slade Heathcott pitched the bottom of the 7th innning to get the save and close out the victory for the Tigers.
