Police in Texarkana, TX, investigating homicide

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) -  Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating a shooting death. Officers were sent to a house in the 3800 block of Pansy Street Thursday just before 1 o'clock.

Police say a man tells them he went to visit his friend who lived there, but instead found his friend in a back room of the house dead from a gunshot wound.

The man has been identified as 32-year-old Delsondero "Shawn" Hall.

Police are investigating Hall's death as a homicide.

"It does not appear to be a suicide, certainly we're not going to rule that out, but every indication does turn towards a homicide," says Shawn Fitzgerald with Texarkana, Texas Police.

"That's why we're treating it as a homicide investigation. We know that last evening was the last time that he was seen, so again, we're just trying to piece it together and figure out where to go from here.

If you can help police with any information about this crime, call Texarkana Crime Stoppers at (903)793-7867.
