BPD, SPD and CSO search for nail salon burglar

BOSSIER CITY, LA  (KSLA) - A suspect responsible for committing a string of burglaries at nail salons in Bossier and Shreveport is on the loose and both Shreveport and Bossier Police need the public's help in capturing them.

According to the Bossier City Police Department, the Bossier City Police Department, Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office and Shreveport Police Department are all working together in finding the person responsible for breaking into area salons and stealing cash.

The most recent break in happened Tuesday at the China Hat nail salon in the 3600 block of Jewella Ave. in Shreveport.

The suspect allegedly is seen through surveillance as a male, driving a blue sedan with a spoiler on the rear.

Police say the subject breaks out the front glass door, enters the business, steals cash and then leaves quickly.

Anyone with information on this case or other business burglaries that may have happened in the area, police urge you to call the Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100 or Shreveport Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
