Mudbugs lose game one of series with Colorado

The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs thought that they had to jump out early on the Colorado Eagles in game one of their CHL quarterfinal playoff series.  The Bugs fresh off a series win over Rocky Mountain had momentum, while the Eagles had been sitting around for 10 days since the regular season.  But it was Colorado that jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, and although the Mudbugs tied things heading into the 3rd period, it was the Eagles who scored twice in the final period to finish things off.

The two teams will meet again Monday night in Colorado for game two of their Northern Conference Semifinal, with game three slated for Thursday night at the CenturyTel Center in Bossier City.
