COVINGTON, La. (AP) - Covington Police have arrested a man accused of stealing about $182,000 in lottery tickets from a gas station.
Capt. Jack West said 32-year-old Abderazek Dziri was booked with felony theft.
The Times-Picayune reports the tickets were stole over the course of a year.
West said the city's street crimes unit had been looking into the case for about a month and worked with the state Lottery Commission to conduct forensic accounting needed for the case.
It wasn't immediately clear if Dziri has an attorney.
