Crash survivor talks to students about drunken driving
"I was ejected out of my back windshield, and I had a traumatic left arm amputation." Sarah Evans shared her story about drunken driving May 2 with some ArkLaTex students. She told them she lost her arm after flipping her vehicle while driving drunk. Evans said doctors gave her no chance of surviving. After a remarkable recovery, she now shares her story throughout the country to help students prepare for a safe prom night.
