Mardi Gras revelers leave ruts in grass at park, along parkway
Some visitors to Shreveport's duck pond are upset that Mardi Gras revelers left muddy ruts in the grass there. SPAR Director Shelly Ragle says this is not uncommon, particularly when it rains before or during the parades. The park should be good as new by spring, she added. Similar ruts were made by paradegoers parking in the median and along the side of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway.
