Bossier City moves to create two redevelopment districts
The Bossier City Council has approved the first reading of an ordinance that would create two redevelopment districts, one for neighborhoods and one for an area along Barksdale Boulevard. The total estimated cost is around $5 million. The idea is to make the area around the planned Walker Place development look nicer. The action is the result of the settlement of a federal lawsuit developer U.L. Coleman filed against the city.
