    Tropical Storm Arlene is the first named storm of the 2017 Hurricane Season. Why rare? First, the hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th, So it's a bit early. And it's only the second storm to form this early since satellite tracking has existed. Arlene had, at her peak, estimated winds of 50 mph.
