     Anthony Davis has been fined $25,000 for verbally abusing a game official, and failing to leave the court in a timely manner following his ejection. The NBA levied the fine Friday afternoon. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports Hill had surgery on his hamstring, and could miss much of the regular season. Hill was slated to be the starter at small forward for the Pelicans in the 2017-18 season. Hill played in 80 games last season, averaging 7 points a contest.
