Former KSLA news reporter and morning anchor Kelley Johnson is now hosting Your Hometown Show. Kelley Johnson returned to KSLA in August 2014, after spending many years at home raising her children.
Growing up in Baton Rouge, Kelley received her degree in Broadcast Journalism from LSU and began her career as the Bureau Chief at KTVE in El Dorado, AR. She later became the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. anchor at KTVE’s main station in Monroe, LA and worked there for three years before marrying the love of her life and moving to Shreveport.
She was a member of the KSLA news team from 1993-1999. With their oldest son now attending college and their twin girls now old enough to drive, Kelley is ready to get back to doing what she loves best: Interviewing people and learning more about people, organizations and businesses in the ArkLaTex. When she’s not on set, you can find her actively involved in the Northwest Louisiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.|
