Plain Dealing man arrested for attempted armed robbery

BOSSIER CITY, LA. (KSLA) - Bossier Sheriff's deupties have arrested a Plain Dealing man for attempted armed robbery .

20-year-old Cedrick Dobbin, is already in jail facing two attempted first-degree murder charges, according to sheriff's deputies. Wednesday Dobbin's was rebooked on an attempted armed robbery charge.

According to sheriff investigators, Dobbin was the man who allegedly attempted to rob two men back in January that were delivering furniture to a place in Plain Dealing. Dobbin was described to investigators by the delivery men.

Almost a week later, a double shooting in the 200 block of South Perrin in Plain dealing, the victim also identified Dobbin as the alleged shooter.

Dobbin turned himself in to Plain Dealing police a short while after that incident, he then led investigators to the weapon he used in both incidents.

As of right now, Dobbin is in the Bossier Maximum Security Facility on a $50,000 bond.
