Lightning hits E. TX Salt Water tank, causes fire

HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KSLA) - Severe weather is being blamed for a fire that lit up the night during a huge explosion near I-20 in Scottsville Wednesday.

Witnesses said they saw lightning strike the salt water tanks about 7:00 pm.

Numerous fire departments from Harrison County battled the blaze.

There were no reports of any injuries.
