SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police continue to investigate a hit and run accident that left a man dead on the side of the road.
Police found the man on Westport Avenue in Shreveport after a call from a passing motorist.
A bicycle was found a few feet away and pieces of a vehicle were found on the scene.
Police believe the vehicle is possibly a black and silver, early 80's pick up truck that should have damage on the front passenger's side.
The victim's name has not been released.
