Independence Bowl sues PetroSun

The Independence Bowl is looking for a new title sponsor. Thursday members of the Independence Bowl Committe, along with Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover told the media that they had ended their partnership with PetroSun and were filing a lawsuit against the company because of what they say was a default on payments by PetroSun to the I Bowl. The announcement ended an almost two-year relationship between the bowl and PetroSun which became title sponsor in August of 2006.
