Caddo Sheriff's Office wants your old cell phones

When you get a new cell phone, what do you do with the old one?
Now, the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office wants that old, discarded phone.
Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator says his office has teamed with the nationwide 911 cell phone bank.
They take the old discarded cell phones and program them to call 911 in case of an emergency.
Those phones are then issued to senior citizens and victims of domestic violence.
Cell phones can be dropped off at the following locations:
 - Caddo Parish Sheriff's Substation
   Keithville

 - Caddo Parish Sheriff's Substation
   4910 North Market St.
   Shreveport, LA

 - Caddo Parish Courthouse
   500 Texas St.
   Shreveport, LA

 - Caddo Council on Aging
   4015 Greenwood Rd.
   Shreveport, LA

 - Shreveport Police Community Oriented Police Offices
   6500 Kennedy St.
   547 E. 79th St.
   2200 Milam St.
   3500 Beverly Pl.
   Shreveport, LA
