Candidate Lists Complete For House District 1, 4 Races

BATON ROUGE, LA

The candidate fields are set for next month's election to fill two vacant seats in the Louisiana State House.
Five candidates will run for the unexpired term of former District One State Representative Roy "Hoppy" Hopkins.
They include Republican Michael Boyter, Democrat Richard Hollier, Democrat Ruth Johnston, Republican Jim Morris and Republican Marc Weddleton.
The State Representative District Four seat became vacant when Cedric Glover became mayor of Shreveport.
The four candidates vying for his seat are all democrats.
They are Larry Ferdinand, Reginald Johnson, Calvin Lester and Patrick Williams.
That election is set for February 24.
