KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana |One Vehicle Accident Kills Woman

An ArkLaTex woman is dead after a one vehicle accident Tuesday morning.
The accident happened on FM 990 in Bowie County. Texas Department of Public Safety officials say 23 year old Sarah Burks of Dekalb, Texas was traveling south when she apparently went off the right shoulder. She then overcorrected and crossed the roadway striking a concrete culvert. Burks was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say Burks was not wearing a seatbelt.
