Pipeline Explosion Lights Up East Texas Sky

The Harrison County Sheriff's Office says Sunday night a pipeline leaking natural gas exploded after a car drove over that leak, which was part of the Texas Gas Gathering Company .
Two people in that car were injured and taken to LSU Hospital.
The explosion shook homes and businesses just north of Waskom Texas at around 7:30 Sunday night. Most of the surround area was evacuated. Renae Holbert, who lives near the pipeline, described what she saw. "I ran outside. We thought it was a train and then the next thing we knew the whole sky just lit up."
This is the second natural gas explosion in Harrison County this year. The first happened in May.
