ST. FRANCISVILLE, La. (AP) - Authorities say a bar fight in a blues club lead to a deadly shooting in St. Francisville over the weekend.
The West Feliciana Sheriff's Office said in news release that deputies responded to a call of fighting and gun shots at Gerri's Blues Club early Saturday.
The found 21-year-old Terrence Brooks lying on the street outside of the club with a single gunshot wound.
He died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Deputies later arrested 23-year-old Eric Martin of Ethel. Martin was booked at the jail in St. Francisville on one count of second-degree murder, according to The Advocate newspaper in Baton Rouge.
