7 y-o girl Texarkana girl abducted, suspect still at large

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) – A 7-year-old Texarkana girl is now home with her family, after reportedly being abducted Saturday afternoon from an area park and now police need the public's help in finding her alleged abductor.

Texarkana, Texas Police say that a call went out 3: 30 p.m. Saturday to a child abduction and possible sexual assault.

The incident allegedly happened near a playing area in the 2200 block of W. 15^th St., in Texarkana.

Reportedly, the 7-year-old female was playing when an older male suspect allegedly coaxed her into his vehicle and then drove her to an unknown location.

It is believed by police that the suspect may have exposed himself to the child during the time he had her.

The suspect, according to police dropped the child off 10 to 20 minutes later near her home and that's when the family realized the child had been abducted.

The child was taken to St. Michael's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The child; however, was able to provide Texarkana Police with a description of her alleged abductor and what type of vehicle he may be driving.

Police say the suspect is an older male with gray hair, blue eyes and possibly a goatee. He may have been wearing a dark colored hoodie jacket and bleached, spotted blue jeans. The suspect is possibly driving a newer model Gray Impala.
