
CASS COUNTY, TX (KSLA) –The Cass Cty. Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in solving the murders of two residents.
According to deputies, Sarah Olsen and Jay McDaniel's bodies were found back in November in an abandoned car.
The car is believed to be that of McDaniel's and was found by authorities on County Rd. 1114, in Cass Cty.
Reportedly McDaniel picked up Olson at her home in Queen City, Texas sometime after 10 p.m. on November 16th. The car was found by authorities, November 17th.
Authorities have identified the car as a Red Mustang with Arkansas tags in the back and a Razorback plate in the front. Across the front windshield the words ‘Mustang Madness' and across the back windshield, ‘Ford Racing' are written on the vehicle.
Cass County Sheriff's deputies urge anyone who may have seen the Mustang or have any information that can be helpful in solving this double murder investigation to call the sheriff's department at (903) 756-7511.
