SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) –In November, KSLA News 12 reported that the number of reported rapes in Shreveport was on the rise.
In order to help women protect themselves, KSLA News 12 has partnered yet again with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office to offer another free self defense class for women.
The response to the first course held back on November 23rd was so overwhelming KSLA News 12 and the sheriff's office decided to do the second one.
The course teaches Ark-La-Tex women how to kick, jab and defend themselves in several real life situations.
The 2nd free class for women will be held December 17th at Sheriff's Safety Town, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
