Toddler tests positive for meth

Posted: Updated:

TITUS COUNTY, LA (KSLA) – A two-year old in Titus County has tested positive for methamphetamine: a highly toxic and illegal drug. Now, three of the child's relatives are in jail charged with injury to a child and child endangerment.

Jessica and Michael Croley are both charged with endangering a child. Patricia Croley is charged with injury to a child.

Titus County Sheriff Deputies were called to the Croley home earlier this month for family violence.

Deputies say Patricia Croley and her son allegedly assaulted Jessica Croley while she was holding her two-year old son.

The child was struck in the face and was left with a swollen eye according to police.

After a drug test, CPS found both parents and the two-year old tested positive for meth.

The two-year old and two other siblings have been placed in foster care by CPS.
