LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in Pulaski County are searching for a man who escaped from police custody.
Authorities say Marlon Watkins was about to be moved from a satellite center to the Pulaski County jail Sunday morning when he allegedly jumped into a jail van and took off.
The van, along with Watkins' yellow jail clothes, was found abandoned later Sunday at 26th and Jackson streets.
Watkins was arrested Nov. 8 by Little Rock police on suspicion of possession of marijuana, obstructing government operations and criminal use of a prohibited weapon - brass knuckles.
Anyone who sees Watkins is asked to call 911 or the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.
