LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Bill Clinton marks his presidential library's fifth anniversary this week in a downtown Little Rock neighborhood that has blossomed since the facility opened.

About 1,000 guests are expected at ceremonies to mark the anniversary Wednesday. They will see a neighborhood that has changed vastly since the former president chose the site for the center along the Arkansas River.

Skip Rutherford, the former director of Clinton's foundation, says the William J. Clinton Presidential Center has spurred over $2 billion in new projects. And developer Jimmy Moses says he expects another wave of development in the area in the next five to seven years.

The library museum has had 1.64 million visitors since it opened, a Clinton Foundation spokesman said.
