Webster Parish deputies investigate tanker rollover accident

WEBSTER PARISH, LA (KSLA) -Webster Parish Sheriff's deputies are still investigating a tanker rollover accident which injured two people.

The accident happened Wednesday night. According to deputies, a salt water tanker truck rolled over into a ditch.

KSLA News 12 has learned that reports of the truck exploding are false and the accident was not a Hazmat situation.

Both the driver and passenger of the tanker truck were injured during the rollover accident. Officials say one of the victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other was air lifted to LSU Hospital.

At last check, no names had been released and there have yet to be any injury updates.
