NEW ORLEANS (AP) - A 60-year-old Slidell woman has admitted to stealing $287,000 from a New Orleans air conditioning and heating company to feed her gambling habit and pay bills.
Jessie Munch pleaded guilty Wednesday to wire fraud in federal court and faces a maximum 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and three years of supervision upon release. She also has agreed to pay back the $287,463 she bilked from the company.
U.S. District Judge Sarah Vance is scheduled to sentence her on Feb. 10.
