Lake Bistineau crests, but water will stay

Posted: Updated:
SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Webster parish officials say Lake Bistineau has crested, but residents shouldn't expect the water to go down any time soon.
The lake crested at 147.48 feet, which is just short of the all time high of 147.8 feet.
Webster parish deputies say the water has no place to go and probably won't recede until at least Monday.
Several roads are blocked in near the lake including highway 164 between Sibley and Doyline.
