BOSSIER PARISH, LA (KSLA) - Where'd Shadow Lake go? That's what several different residents are asking in the Northeast Bossier Parish neighborhood near Shadow Wood and Heather Wood Streets.
This neighborhood is on the other side of Dogwood Trail where they are fortifying the levee.
Shadow Lake used to be behind Kristy Coleman's Northeast Bossier home. It used to be considered lakefront property.
"I thought it wasn't possible," she said.
What used to be Shadow Lake has moved a football field away to Vick Kirkendale's backyard. "It came here now, maybe we should change the name," he said.
"It just kind of blew up and took the road with it," Coleman said.
These northeast Bossier residents are just wondering what's next? Crews were out surveying the damage, but didn't want to go on camera. Coleman said the water that used to be Shadow Lake was nearly 6 or 7 feet deep.
