CSO severe weather update

CADDO PARISH, LA (KSLA) -The Caddo Sheriff's Office right now is evacuating families off Riding Club Lane, located in South Caddo Parish.

Deputies are using boats and a tractor/flatbed trailer to evacuate residents of this area.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office's south substation has taken on about eight inches of water, according to deputies.

Deputies are advising motorists to not enter areas where there is standing water.

Hwy. 538 north of Main Street in Oil City is suffering extensive road damage. The asphalt is there, but the dirt is washing out underneath.

Deputies say expect it to be closed for some time.
