BATON ROUGE, LA (AP) - This is the final week of Louisiana's tax amnesty program.
Delinquent taxpayers can file back taxes from now through Saturday without having to pay penalties. Fifty percent of the interest will also be waived on delinquent forms that are eligible.
The amnesty program applies to unpaid taxes that were due between 2001 and Jan. 1 of this year.
