BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Bossier City administrators have released a draft version of the 2010 budget for viewing by city residents.
The city has come under fire over the past two weeks after Mayor Lo Walker held a news conference stating the city was considering cutting police and fire personnel to overcome a $6M budget shortfall.
Just days later at a city council meeting, Councilman Jeff Darby said he felt it was possible to address the city's budget issues without impacting the police or fire department personnel levels.
