KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana |12 y.o. dies in ATV accident

HEMPSTEAD COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - A day of fun riding an ATV turned tragic in one part of the Ark-La-Tex for a 12-year old boy.
It happened just before 1pm this afternoon in Hempstead County, Arkansas.
Authorities say, 12-year old Garrett Malone was found by his brother and father...with an a-t-v on top of him.
The father gave Garrett CPR, until medics airlifted him to St. Michael's Hospital, where he later died.
