NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A new exhibit at the Ryman Auditorium chronicles the lives of Johnny Cash and his wife June.
"Johnny & June at the Ryman" will be on display through the end of 2010.
It includes many artifacts on loan from the personal collections of son John Carter Cash, performer Marty Stuart and the archives of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
As Grand Ole Opry members, Johnny Cash and June Carter met backstage in 1956 at the auditorium where the live country show was performed at the time.
The couple died four months apart in 2003.
