MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a 71-year-old Mountain Home man who'd been missing since Saturday has been found dead in a deer stand in woods near Lake Norfork.
The body of Tedrick Proctor was located by Baxter County sheriff's deputies at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Several agencies took part in the search after officials noticed that a vehicle and boat trailer had been parked at the Robinson Point campground for several days. Park rangers ran the tags and learned from Proctor's neighbors that he left Saturday to hunt.
A helicopter spotted the boat from the air. Officers walked to the area and found Proctor at the deer stand.
Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says it appears Proctor died from natural causes.
