MILLER COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - A former Miller County, Arkansas jailer arrested on alleged misconduct was found dead Tuesday morning.
55-year-old Patrick Drake was arrested back in 2008 and charged with sexual assault of a female inmate.
Drake was due in court Tuesday morning on that charge, but his body was found at Daniel's Used Tires in Miller County, according to officials.
Officials say Drake appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. If convicted on the alleged sex charge, Drake was facing 10 years in prison.
