HOOKS, TX (KSLA) - It took Ark-La-Tex fire crews three hours to put out an apartment fire early Tuesday morning. The East Hooks Apartment Complex in Hooks, Texas caught fire at around 3am.
Fire investigators have determined a cause, but they say the fire may have started inside apartment number two.
Jack Ainley says he woke up to the sound of a loud noise.
Investigators say ten apartment units were heavily damaged.
