Photo courtesy Jim & Robin ClarkWALDO, AR (KSLA) - A fire has consumed the old Waldo school in Columbia County.
Authorities say the fire began about 6:25 Friday evening. Fire crews from Waldo, Magnolia, McNeil, Calhoun and Nevada County are fighting the blaze. It was still fully involved as of 8:30 pm.
The old school is currently vacant and has not been open in four years.
So far crews do not know how the fire started.
