NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - It's hot and spicy time in Natchitoches (NACK-uh-tush).
The 7th annual Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival opens Friday evening with music, food and children's activities.
The meat pie events - contests for pie makers and eaters, and demonstrations of meat pie-making - are Saturday.
There's also a parade.
