KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana |65-year-old AR man dies in fatal car crash

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, AR (KSLA) - Arkansas State Police investigated a one vehicle accident Wednesday night that ended with a fatality.
That fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. in Lafayette County.
State Police say 65-year-old Edward Davenport of Taylor, Arkansas was traveling south on State Hwy. 53 when his pickup truck ran off the road and hit a tree.
Davenport was said to have been pronounced dead at the scene. State Police say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
