SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - A pair of drug busts by Caddo and Shreveport authorities landed several people in jail.
Late Tuesday night, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force went to a home on Cypress Street in Rodessa after getting complaints about drug activity. Inside the home, agents found 165 Psudoephedrine tablets along with the parts and chemicals needed to build a meth lab.
Arrested were 43-year-old Joe Charles Taylor and 36-year-old Angelia Holden of Rodessa, and 26-year-old George Adams of Vivian. All three were charged with possession of over 12 grams of Psudoephedrine and possession of a clandestine lab. Adams was also charged with possession of marijuana.
Agents raided a second home a short time later in the early morning hours of Wednesday. This time agents along with Caddo's Special Response Team executed a search warrant at a Shreveport home in the 1800 block of Lyons Street.
There agents found over $4,000 in cash and more than 4,600 grams of marijuana, with an estimated street value of almost $46,500.
Agents arrested 26-year-old Johnny Adger and 25-year-old Demarcus Jones. Both were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
