GIBSLAND, LA (KSLA) - Problems with the water supply in Gibsland has prompted the town to issue a boil advisory to its residents.
A press release from the town did not specify what the exact nature of the problem was, only that the microbiology of the supply is in question.
Customers should disinfect their water before using it for consumption, including using it for making ice, brushing teeth or using it in food preparation. To disinfect the water, you should boil it for one full minute in a clean container.
