BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - A Shreveport-Bossier group is making preparations for a huge Fourth of July celebration in Bossier City Saturday.
The group is hosting a Fourth of July Tea Party Rally. The rally's theme is, "Declaring Independence from Tax and Spend Politicians."
Organizers say the rally will be very similar to the previous tea party held back in April.
Ark-La-Tex families are invited to join the freedom celebration which will be held at 4 p.m. on the Bossier Civic Center lawn.
Participants can expect music, speeches and prizes. 500 constitution booklets are expected to be given away at the rally.
Organizers say there will be plenty of free parking available at The Bossier Civic Center, First Baptist Church of Bossier and Pierre Bossier Mall.
