HEMPSTEAD COUNTY, AR (KSLA) -Hempstead County authorities are investigating a double fatal accident.
The accident happened Thursday afternoon on County Road 15 in Arkansas.
Investigators say a pick-up truck was traveling south when it swerved in front of an 18 wheeler traveling Northbound and then burst into flames.
19-year-old Warren King of Fulton, Arkansas and 14-year-old Katrina Sutton were involved in the crash, and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 18 wheeler was able to get the third person, 16-year-old Sharona Sutton out of the vehicle safely.
Sharona also suffered injuries and was transported to LSU Hospital, her condition is unknown at this time, but she is expected to be okay.
